Keith A. Carsten and Amir A. Ladan forged their trial skills as prosecutors at the Orange-Osceola State Attorney’s Office from 1998-2001. Since founding Carsten & Ladan, P.A. in 2001, they have dedicated their practice to representing those accused of crimes in Central Florida.

Carsten & Ladan, P.A. opened its first office in Winter Park, Florida in 2001, where they utilized their experience as former felony prosecutors to assess their clients’ cases from the State’s point of view.

Keith and Amir quickly learned that in addition to seeking exceptional legal service, our clients wanted convenience. In 2003, they relocated their main office to 101 S. Wymore Road, just off I-4 and 436 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Equidistant to both Orange and Seminole County courthouses, the Altamonte Springs office served as the firm’s main office for four years.

In 2004, Carsten & Ladan, P.A. opened their Kissimmee / Osceola County office in an effort to provide exceptional legal representation with the added convenience of multiple locations. The addition of their first bi-lingual associate wasn’t far behind, making Carsten & Ladan, P.A. one of the only law firms in Central Florida dedicated solely to criminal defense with a Spanish-speaking attorney on staff.

In 2007, Carsten & Ladan, P.A. opened its third office, located just blocks from the Orange County Courthouse in downtown Orlando (now our main office). • Amir A. Ladan is a partner and co-founder of Carsten & Ladan, P.A. Amir’s family moved to Central Florida from Chicago in the mid-‘80s. Upon graduating from Rollins College with a B.A. in Politics, Amir attended the University of Miami School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in only two and a half years. Amir was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1998 and accepted a position with the Orange / Osceola State Attorney’s Office, where he worked as an assistant state attorney for three years before founding Carsten & Ladan, P.A. with his trial partner, Keith A. Carsten. With successful jury trials from murder cases to DUIs and all points in between, Amir has established himself as an excellent advocate for those accused of crimes in Central Florida in both state and federal court.
• Keith A. Carsten is a partner and co-founder of Carsten & Ladan, P.A. Keith is a life-long Florida resident. Upon graduating from the University of Florida, Keith attended Stetson University College of Law. Keith was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1998 and accepted a position with the Orange / Osceola State Attorney’s Office, where he worked as an assistant state attorney for three years before founding Carsten & Ladan, P.A. with his trial partner, Amir A. Ladan. With over ten years of criminal law experience, Keith has developed a reputation as both a winning trial attorney and a keen negotiator, successfully resolving countless cases on behalf of his clients prior to trial, a testament to his skillful negotiations.
• Monica Victorica joined Carsten & Ladan, P.A. as an Associate in 2006, after spending eight years as an assistant state attorney in the Orange / Osceola State Attorney’s Office. Monica attended the University of Florida for both undergraduate and law school, where she graduated with honors before becoming a member of the Florida Bar in 1998. As a former career criminal lead attorney responsible for the most violent and serious felony offenders, Monica has over ten years of criminal law experience and has handled thousands of criminal cases. Monica runs the Kissimmee / Osceola County office and handles much of the Osceola County cases in our office, in addition to taking cases throughout Central Florida on behalf of our Spanish-speaking clientele, as she is fluent in both English and Spanish.
